What is it?

Professional showcase website for an hypnosis practice. Its goal is to inform future patients about what hypnosis is, how it works, its benefits and how the sessions with Marie – hypnotherapist goes. I designed and developed  this website to help her increase her visibility on the web.

What technologies did you use?

I first used Figma to create my models, then wordpress for the overall management of the project and phpmyadmin for the  database. I managed my dependencies with webpack, some parts of the CSS was managed with Bootstrap which was then overridden with SASS. Jquery animations  and versioning with git . Without forgetting the famous photoshop to create and edit icons.

What inspired you?

Marie wanted a clear, uncluttered website, with soft/relaxing colors to match the hypnotic atmosphere. I was mainly inspired by nature. I discovered that colors were closely related to emotions and on that note, I read various articles and created several color palettes to best suit Marie’s request. I wanted to make a website that matches both her personality and her style, while giving a reassuring, relaxing and professional aspect to the website.

Anything else?

This project was particularly intense and important for me. I wore several hats and it was very formative both personally and professionally. I had the chance to lead this project from start to finish. Beyond the development of the website, I also proceeded to the creation of business cards as well as a market research. I loved working on this project, not only because I learned a lot technically but also and above all because it’s a project that took me to the top at all levels.
